6FIT Check-in!

This was both a fun and challenging week for out 6fitters!  Hunt.Gather.Grow can be difficult, but all of our 6FIT members are doing a really great job at preparing all natural foods and meals for their families and themselves.

Our weekly challenges this week were Makeover Monday and Thirsty Thursday!

On Monday, our 6fitters took their favorite comfort foods and transformed them into healthy versions.  The recipes all looked wonderful...and healthy!  From pancakes, to banana bread to meatloaf and even Mac N' Cheese!  Take a look at some of their creations!

On Thursday, our teams prepared smoothies for their take on Thirsty Thursday!  YUM, lots of green smoothies in the mix too!



We must give a special shout-out to Team Yellow...they are the ELITE team, and instead of participating in our food challenges each week, they have special cardio/strength challenges of their own.  This week, they have had to take on a HUGE amount of individual workouts.  A small example...120 minutes of planks and 200 minutes of sit-up, among a handful of others too...like 1,000 burpees.  Team Yellow is probably feeling tired as the week comes to a close, but they really have been amazing!  Way to go ladies!
