On Saturday, more than 75 Little Yogis (Ages 3-12) came together for the Kid's Yogathon at the Newton YMCA. The children & families who attended raised money for less fortunate kids to attend summer camps.
What a beautiful way for kids to help kids! The children were rewarded with the opportunity to take master yoga classes by incredibly talented and experienced teachers. They got their faces painted, henna tattoos, participated in crafts, enjoyed delicious treats from some of the vendors (Skinny Pop, Snikiddy Snacks, Honest Tea, and so many more!!!), played baseball with Frozen Ropes (and my hubby) and last but not least danced with us!"By supporting the West Suburban YMCA’s Camper Scholarship program, you are providing a critical opportunity for kids in greatest need to foster independence, broaden social skills, build self-esteem, develop new friendships and create life-long memories at one of our 5 amazing summer camps."
Please enjoy some pictures we captured and thank you to everyone who supported Yoga Reaches Out!
