A Note From Emily!

Before Emily left for Japan (!!!) we asked her to write you guys a little note! She'll be off the DanceFIT Schedule for the month of March, but not to worry, she'll be back with her yoga and Zumba goodness in April!

A letter to my DanceFIT family,

As you may have noticed, I am not teaching any classes during the month of March. Why, you ask? I’m jet-setting to Japan for two weeks!

Now, this long trip won’t be void of exercise. I’ve had my eyes on a Manduka eKO SuperLite® Travel Mat for some time now and was gifted the plum color by mom for my birthday. As the name suggests, this mat is SUPER light and can fold or roll up to fit snugly in a suitcase or carry on bag. Another essential item on my packing like is my running sneakers. Lucky for me, there are large parks near the places we are staying in both Kyoto and Tokyo; I plan to take full advantage. Most importantly, my suitcase will be filled with plenty of healthy snacks to power me through many long day trips (most by way of Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s.

My go-to snacks include:

Nuts (almonds, cashews)
Peanut butter 
Banana chips
Dried fruit (raisins, craisins, juicy mango)
Granola/power bars

While I’m away, my class slots have been filled by some amazing instructors. I hope you are enjoying their class offerings and I look forward to seeing you all in April! I have some videos on YouTube if you’re really missing me that much:
