You Are What You Eat

I started this blog up again, because I would like to share, gripe and express on "paper" my whirlwind of beautiful life moments to do with DanceFIT, my family and the challenges of living a healthy lifestyle. A few weeks ago, I called Tommy's doctor because he was being very fussy and his nursing habits were so strange. They asked me how my diet was and if I was eating enough. I thought about what I had eaten that day--I thought it was pretty sad that I couldn't really remember, and what I did remember were 3 luna bars, toast and lots of coffee. Not good! It was time to do something!

To hold myself more accountable for what I was eating, I designed a fitness/food challenge with 7 of my closest friends. It is simple...6 days a week exercise 30 minutes a day (Cardio preferred), and then document and share with the group everything you have eaten, drank & snacked on during the day. Why? My thought is that it would make each individual accountable for what they are eating. We send out recipes, fitness tips and encourage each other to keep going. We are having so much fun with the challenge that I have decided to offer it to all of you! More details coming soon :)
