Ali Barton is a beloved yoga teacher, friend, wife and soon-to-be Mama here in the Boston area. She was recently diagnosed with a very rare heart condition called endomycardial fibrosis. Ali is 24 weeks pregnant. She needs to stay at the hospital for at least five more weeks and then her baby will be delivered prematurely. At that point, Ali will be put on a donor list for a heart transplant. Her resilient spirit is already beating the odds!
The Boston yoga community has put together a very special fundraiser and has allocated a day where all local yoga studios donate the proceeds of their classes to the Rally For Ali Fund!
The DanceFIT Studio Community is filled with Mamas who support other Mamas and this has really hit home for us! We are honored to be participating in Rally For Ali Day on Monday, December 16th. If you wish, wear blue on Rally for Ali Day for baby Ethan!
To support Ali, her family & Baby Ethan the following DanceFIT classes will run as usual, but we will NOT take class credit for them. We will have donation boxes set up in Brookline & Natick or you can donate directly to the Rally For Ali Fund here: http://www.gofundme.com/
