6FIT - Thursday Motivation!

It's Thursday and you made it through 1/2 of your first week!  Congratulations!  By now you might be feeling sore from all the amazing exercise you have been doing...this is normal and hopefully it's a "good" sore :) We highly recommend investing in a foam roller!  After every workout, roll out your body for 10 minutes and the soreness will feel a lot more manageable.  Foam rolling can be painful at first, but you will notice a difference in your muscles when you're done.  Here are some tips on how to use a foam roller and the benefits of it too!

All of the extra water you're drinking should be really helping to keep your energy levels up and by this point your body might be showing the benefits of your water intake.  You might be snacking less or you might be less hungry in general!  Does your skin feel and look a little better?  In the winter, especially, skin tends to dry out and all the water you're drinking helps so much to bring life back into your skin!


Next week kicks off Team Challenge week and No Bread/Pasta week!  Get together with your teammates and start planning your classes together.  Group 14 minute workouts get extra points too!  Remember, the more people from 1 team in a class, the more points!
